The students are helped in planning for their future careers. The Career Guidance Program
outlines activities that are based on the developmental needs of the students and these are
integrated within the guidance program of each grade or year level.
Parent Education Program
Parenting sessions are held for better understanding of students needs, interest and concerns,
and for enhancing parenting skills. Reading materials and books are provided at the guidance office.
A routine interview with students is conducted to update and know feedback with regard to their
condition in school as a whole. A routine interview is conducted to foster a healthy relationship
between the counselors and the students. The interview keeps the students in close contact
with the counselors.

Research and Evaluation
The guidance office conduct assessment and evaluation of needs, interest and other related
programs for purposes of research, study and program development.
Role of the Guidance Counselor
The guidance counselor assists students, teachers, parents/guardians and administrators. Generally
guidance counselor helps the individual in counseling, consulting and coordinating. Counseling is a
complex helping process in which the counselor establishes a trusting and confidential working
relationship. The focus is on problem solving, decision-making and discover personal meaning
related to learning and development. The guidance counselor is always willing and eager to meet
parents to review students goals and monitor students progress.
The Guidance & Counseling Office is open from Monday- Friday, 7:00 am-4:00 pm, located at the
Elementary Building (near Gate 2)
